The Indonesian Port Business Entity Association – ABUPI, held its 2023 National Work Meeting at Menara Kadin, Jakarta, on Friday, March 17, 2023. This National Work Meeting submits activity reports as an evaluation related to the achievements that have been carried out by the ABUPI Management for 2022. In addition to reports and evaluations also to develop the ABUPI Work Program for 2023.
The implementation of the National Work Meeting was carried out in a Hybrid, namely offline and online which was attended by all Central Administrators, Regional Coordinators, and ABUPI members from all over Indonesia.
Prior to the implementation of this National Work Meeting, it was preceded by the signing of an MoU between ABUPI and PT Krakatau Bandar Samudera for the Port digitization program.
“This Rakernas has a strategic meaning, especially in order to create an organizational work program policy whose purpose is that the organization’s work program produces various benefits felt by members,” said Febri, who is also the Chairperson of ABUPI.
“It is hoped that through this Rakernas, a joint conception of the direction and policies of good Port Governance can be built, through the work program that will be implemented,” Febri added.
“The focus for the 2023 work program, among others, is the development of Regional Coordinators in all regions of Indonesia, organizing seminars related to government policies on ports, mentoring and improving and developing human resources through education and training which has been carried out regularly”, said Liana Trisnawati, ABUPI Secretary General.
Until the end of 2022 ABUPI members registered as many as 89 Port Business Entities and in 2023 until February there are 6 Port Business Entities that have registered as members and the formation of 3 (three) new Regional Coordinators in Sulawesi, “said Liana ended.
